Noel Chenier
PROJECTS
Noel Chenier was born and raised in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Canada. He received a diploma of Fine Craft in Photography in 1997 from the NB College of Craft and Design in Fredericton. Soon after graduation, Noel became a full-time freelancer photographer, and in April of 1998 he was hired by the New Brunswick Telegraph Journal, the provincial daily newspaper, as their staff photographer. Noel has covered a broad range of subjects, including peace keeping in war-torn Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovar Refugees, royal visits, leadership conventions, and major sporting events. Noel’s work has appeared in newspapers across North America, including the Globe and Mail, the National Post, the Ottawa Citizen, USA Today and the Montreal Gazette. Noel is a part-time photography instructor, having taught and lectured at New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, the University of New Brunswick, and St Thomas University as well as courses for the general public.
