PhotoSensitive

We are forever grateful to the talented photographers who have given their time, energy and creativity to PhotoSensitive. All accomplished artists in their own right, each photographer has a generosity of spirit and a sensibility that allows them to see life. With each assignment, the photographers take on the responsibility of entering into people's lives, seeing and learning, and becoming more human.

Here, you will find details of our photographer friends, their PhotoSensitive work and links to their own websites. These pages are dedicated to those talented individuals who have given freely their time and energy to help us realize our visions. Thank you.

Fred Thornhill
PROJECTS
Fred is a veteran photojournalist who resides near Bobcaygeon. After almost 30 years working for newspapers he decided to take the high road and move to his property on Pigeon Lake with his wife Jacqueline and daughter Emily.
His lists of accomplishments in the photographic industry are lengthy. He has won numerous awards including two prestigious National Newspaper Awards.
He has traveled around the world on photographic assignment covering events such as the Gulf War, civil strife in Latin and South America and Afghanistan. His coverage of sporting events includes everything from Stanly Cup hockey, to the World Series to Olympic Games and World Cup Soccer. He considers himself privileged to have traveled with and photographed extensively the late Pope John Paul II.
Despite his experience at major world events Fred finds the hidden bays and marshes of the Kawarthas, a photographic challenge. While he still spends time in the city of Toronto as photographer for The Toronto Blue Jays and covering national stories for Reuters News Service, he is at home here. He can often be found at dawn on Pigeon Lake.
